  • Nope! This is a brand new offer, which is why I don’t currently have any Design Day portfolio pieces and why there is a major discount on the rate. That discount will only apply to the first 2 people to book this offer with me. If you’re one of those 2 people, thank you so much for trusting me with your website. You’re going to love the results.

  • In a Designer for A Day Session we can address things like

    • Adding a professional polish to your DIY website

    • Designing new pages (with your provided content)

    • Updating photos, logos, graphics

    • Updating copy (with your provided content)

    • Addressing functionality and user experience issues

    • Creating new graphics and layouts to increase conversion rates

  • We can only get so much done in 8 hours so, some things can’t fit into the Design Day recipe. Here are the things I can’t include in a Design Day:

    • Full Website Redesigns on a new Squarespace website.

    • Extensive copywriting — I’ll offer suggestions for edits that I can do, or bigger changes that you could do another time. If you’re looking to have a whole page re-written or more this offer isn’t for you.

    • Branding Materials - if you have new branding materials ready to go we can usually rebrand your whole website in a single day. However, if you need new branding materials to be produced, this offer isn’t for you.

    • Full SEO service. We can tailor part of the Design Day to focus on improving SEO (like compressing file sizes, optimizing page descriptions) but we won’t be able to do things like get backlinks or write full blog posts for you.

  • Payment for my Designer For A Day service is made up front at the time of scheduling. This holds the day for you in my calendar and ensures a smooth off-boarding process when the work is complete.

  • The most clear answer I can provide here is, a big ole chunk of work. During our Strategy Call we will perform a website audit to look at things like user experience, SEO, visual consistency, brand voice consistency and more. We will also look at your website analytics, engagement and conversion rates for an even better idea what our priorities should be to make the most of the day. From there we will choose 1 primary goal and 2 secondary goals and I will get to work bringing them to life.

  • Great question. There will be some time between our initial Free Discovery Call and the actual design day that you book with me. During this time you’ll have access to a client portal where you’ll answer a couple of questionnaires and submit any new content/graphics/photos to me.
